Nabari No Ou, Vol. 6 Reviews
The worst - and at the same time the best - about this manga is how palpable Yoite's suffering is. His conditioning gets worse and worse and it's just painful to watch, even more so because he doesn't care about his existence and doesn't want others to care about him.And then there's Raikou of course, lovely Raikou and his quite 'interesting" fashion sense that amuses me a lot but then he has his serious moments and I'm a mess.Moments like this:
Miharu joins the enemy with Yoite by his side...
School arc, and there's a girl named Subaru. Let me just laugh because... There's already a Fuuma and now a Subaru... would I be surprised if a Kamui appeared? Ok srsly now... That white haired girl looks like the glasses kid. Geez I can't remember his name *fails* I feel bad for him, he's always left behind. Everyone worries about Miharu and Raimei, but he's just left behind. I feel he's hiding dark stuff, maybe I'm wrong? And Hana's Thobari's gilfriend, just like I thought cuuuute <3. Yoite feels everywhere... I just... ANGST ANGST AND ANGST. Miharu feels everywhere (COULD THIS BOY BE ANY CUTER SERIOUSLY?). Is it wrong that I kinda ship Yoite and Yukimi? Because I'm really liking the protective vibes Yukimi has towards Yoite, but I feel Miharu and Yoite is the fave ship? Maybe I'm wrong, though. xD RAIKOU YOU SUCK WITH CARS GO HOME!No seriously, Raikou is so classy. But why pink hair? I hope Gau gets better soon... Raikou looked so worried about him...The art style is getting prettier, I didn't really like it at the beginning, but now it's better. I hope it gets even better.
I cannot stop gushing over this artwork and its tremendous improvement! It's become so gorgeous, and from the scans I've seen of the later chapters, it's little short of breathtaking. Ah, we finally meet the Kouga...I believe they have ulterior motives (if I remember from the anime, they do). Really need to get the next volume...or maybe the next several.
I think the art is actually improving, which is weird to say since it was lovely to begin with. A solid book looking at the major change that happened at the end of issue 6, though a lot of this one felt like setup for what's to come in volume 7. Still, some good, quiet character moments.
New characters introduced as everyone is searching for yet another scroll with a technique. Art work is really good in this one.
I think I'm addicted. Things twist and turn to the point that I just don't know who the bad guys are anymore.
