The Art of Children's Portrait Photography Reviews
This book had a lot of good stuff; however most of it did not apply to me. I picked it up hoping to find some good advice on how to take better pictures of my daughter. It did have some advice in this area, though the author is very much focused on running your own small business, as well as some photography suggestions. I think, for me personally, a more basic guide to photography would have served me better. I do not doubt that the author had good advice for those hoping to start their own photography business, but for someone who just wants to take cute pictures of their own kid it didn't have a lot of significant advice.
WOW!!! What a comprehensive guide for a starting photographer to the business, or someone looking to beef up the business. From technical details on how to shoot to running your business, this book covers the gamut. It certainly got my wheels turning!
I love this book so far. Lots of good suggestions and ideas and "how-to" for photographing children. I only wish there was more in here on how to use natural lighting. It has lots on studio lighting, but not much advice on natural lighting.
I love this book and will definitely go back and read it again. Lots of great information about portraiture and business.
Some great tips, but more emphasis on starting a photography business than I was looking for.
Lots of great tips for children's photographers, especially those just starting out. It doesn't apply for everyone, but I learned a great deal from it and will probably read parts of it again.
Well-written, with lots of helpful information for starting and running a photography business based around portraiture.
Great book on how to take photographs of children.
