songs of peace a peace series novella Reviews
Songs of Peace by A.H. Stagg was simply amazing. I love reading stories with strong female leads in time period stories. Annabeth is one tough cookie who will do anything and everything she can to help those she loves. Even if it might cost her life, or her peace of mind. She comes home to Peace, Montana after making a living in Boston. She is only there for a short visit to see her family, but trouble has a way of finding her. When she meets Dr. Jolon Lee, you can immediately feel the attraction between the two. The banter was on point. The dialogue was believable and so was the pacing of the story. I will recommend this story to others. I give it 5/5 Platypires.
The curtain rises on Peace with murder and intrigue. Annabeth finds herself squarely in the middle, and has to fight her own demons to get to the bottom of it all. Then the good doctor Jolon crosses her path and things get even more complicated. Peace kicks off with intrigue and the stage is set for dramas aplenty. Not your average historical romance.
Songs of Peace. When Annabeth returns home to Peace, she hopes to help clear her brothers name. What she finds is more than she bargained for. I found this a little hard to get into at first, but once I did, I was captivated. I am excited to read the next instalment of Peace.Well done A.H. Stagg!
Fun storyI like the journey. Following a woman as she made her way thru a mans world, helping solve a crime w still-budding forensics. Was a fun jaunt back in time to the 1940s.
Set in Peace Montana in the 1940's, this book tells a sweet love story of a woman seeking to be free of her abusive past and the patient man who learns to love her. Its a quick read but a sound story. There were a few typo's that bugged me, but not enough to spoil the story. The story has just enough romance, action and sass to keep me interested from start to finish. I'll be waiting for the rest of the Peace Novellas!
