*****4.5 STARS*****{ARC Generously Provided by Author}Yes, she still loved Justin, but every time she was in a room with Matt, it was all she could do not to get caught up in the magnetism of attraction that was building between them.Well, I have another book to add to my list of favorite Christmas romances! Wrong Brother, Right Match was a sugary sweet story that I found to be fully entertaining and satisfied this very sappy Holiday romance junkie. So if you’re just like me, go and grab yourself a nice hot cup of cocoa and get all cozy under a nice warm blanket and dive into this story!! We get a lovable Heroine who is yearning to belong to a close-knit family and dreams of celebrating a magical Christmas, and a delicious Hero who is torn between family loyalties and what his heart truly desires. I found this story to be completely engrossing and although it was missing the steam, I really didn’t feel that it was even needed. This would make the PERFECT Hallmark Christmas Romance!! Kennedy Pepperdine is a young entrepreneur. She is the CEO of her very own online dating service called Match Made Easy. It has a 99% success rate and she and her boyfriend Justin happen to be one of the couples that make up that percentile. Kennedy seems to have it all going for herself at the moment but things weren’t always so perfect in her life. Growing up with a single mother who spent most of her life marrying the wrong men, really took a toll on Kennedy. She vowed to never make the same mistakes that her mother did. She wants a stable relationship with a guy who shares all the same interests and what she has with Justin completely fits that bill. Her perfect and uncomplicated existence gets challenged during a business trip in Vegas. Kennedy ends up getting stuck in an elevator with an insanely handsome guy and while she is experiencing a full-blown panic attack, the guy ends up kissing her. This kiss is like no other she’s ever had before and even six months later Kennedy can’t seem to forget that handsome stranger. Things are about to get seriously interesting and a whole lot messy for her when these two unexpectedly cross paths again. It's nearly Christmas and Kennedy is traveling with her now fiancé, Justin, to his family’s home to spend the holidays with them. This is also the first time she’s meeting them and she is beyond excited. Finally, she thinks she will be a member of a Norman Rockwell type family and will be participating in old family holiday traditions. Never did she expect that Mr. Hottie Elevator guy would be the one to greet them when they arrived at her soon to be in-laws home. Matt Ellis is also more than a little shocked when he finds out that his little brother’s fiancé is the hot redhead that he kissed in that elevator. He too has not been able to forget her the past six months and he also remembers their conversation in which Kennedy confessed that she wasn’t sure that her relationship was going to last with Justin. So now the two meet again and things are anything but easy between them. There is apparently a bit of hostility coming from Matt towards Kennedy. Matt has had his heart broken in the past by a woman who claimed to love him so he’s just a little more than cynical when it comes to love. As luck would have it, Justin leaves Kennedy at his mother’s house for a few days while he is called back to Boston for work. While Justin is away, Matt is the designated tour guide for Kennedy and although at first things are tense and awkward, there is no denying the strong attraction that exists just beneath the surface. Kennedy can’t ignore the intense feelings she has whenever she is with Matt. It’s a spark that doesn’t ever surface between her and Justin. Matt struggles with his feelings of family loyalty vs. what his heart truly desires. Will Kennedy choose messy and passionate over easy and safe? Can Matt finally put his wants first over his inherent sense of family responsibility?WRONG BROTHER, RIGHT MATCH is currently available. Kennedy + Matt + A bottle of champagne + A stuck elevator = A kiss that neither one of them will ever forget. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Right?!Fast forward six months. Kennedy has everything she has worked her entire life for within reach. Loving friends, a growing business and a perfect fiance. She couldn't be happier! So why is she still thinking about that kiss with the handsome stranger, Matt? She loves Justin! And according to her matchmaking software, they are perfect for each other. So why is she second guessing herself?! She'll never see Matt again. She just needs to stay focused and move forward with Justin. If only he can make time for her in his "busy" schedule. *sigh*It's been six months! Six months and Matt still cannot get the kiss with Kennedy out of his mind. He'll never see her again. Even if he did, he's been burned before and will never go down that road ever again. He needs a distraction. And it comes in the form of his brother, Justin, coming home for the holidays for the first time in years! But surprise! He's bringing his fiance with him! What?! When did he get engaged?!They lied! What happens in Vegas does not stay in Vegas! If it did then Kennedy would definitely not be standing in the same room with Matt... her future brother-in-law! How can this be?! He cannot be here! She just needs to focus on her and Justin and stay far away from Matt! But that's just not possible when Justin heads back to the city for a work emergency and leaves her on the island with his family. This will be the perfect opportunity for them to get to know her! They all will love it! But the more time Kennedy and Matt spend together, the more their feelings for each other grow. They both fight it because neither one of them want to hurt Justin, even though the moron does NOT deserve Kennedy. But eventually the truth will need to be revealed and different paths will need to be chosen. It's definitely a journey but in the end the wrong bother will be the right match! *dreamy sigh*Oh my gosh! I absolutely LOVED this book! I devoured it in one sitting! The feels were definitely real my friends! I laughed out loud, growled in frustration, got sad when things weren't going the way I wanted them to, and let out little dreamy sighs throughout the entire book. I seriously loved Kennedy and Matt! They were absolutely perfect for each other! Ms. Shirk has done it again! This was such a fun series! I really need to start reading more books by her! She is quickly climbing my favorite authors list! And of course I can't forget my casting! This one was SO much fun to find! I LOVE them! What do you think?!Content: Mild language.*I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are solely my own.*

Super cute holiday read. Another fun addition to the series. Kennedy owns a successful up-and-coming dating service. She even met her perfect fiancé using her new, unique matching program. Kennedy and Justin seem to be perfect for each other, both are very career driven and her program cant be wrong, can it? Kennedy starts questioning the accuracy of her program when she goes to visit Justin's family for Christmas and everything she thought she wanted isn't quite what she had in mind. Especially when she finds out a mysterious stranger she met months ago turns out to be Justin's brother. The sparks fly. I thought this was a fun story, it reminded me of the movie While You Were Sleeping (in this case it should be called While You Were Working). Kennedy never knew stability growing up, her mom jumped from relationship to relationship and Kennedy is determined to not make the same mistakes her mother mad. So when her own matching program matches her to Justin, she is determined to see it through. Even though she is more drawn to Matt. This is a tricky plot to pull off, I'm not a big fan of love-triangles, but I am a big fan of people being with those who actually love and appreciate them. So, I did think the LT was handled well here, glad no lines were crossed or anything. Overall, I thought this was a fun read and I loved the fun small town charm during my favorite holiday, Christmas. Ms. Shirk's book are always a pleasure to read and I would recommend to any fan of contemporary romance. She's an auto-buy for me. Oh what a quandary these two are both in! After being trapped in an elevator together Kennedy and Matt are seriously attracted to each other and she confesses to being worried that her perfect boyfriend (Justin) isn't actually perfect for her. Then the two meet up again when Kennedy goes with her boyfriend to meet his family - and it turns out Matt is her boyfriend's brother! The two try to deny and fight their mutual attraction as Justin relies on Matt to take Kennedy around and look after her whilst he disappears off to deal with more office/business issues! The sparks fly, the guilty feelings surge and life definitely becomes more interesting for everyone concerned - apart from Justin who is still focussed on business rather than romance.I really didn't like Justin, he's so self-centred and, as Matt suggests, really doesn't deserve someone like Kennedy. I liked her honesty, determination and resolve - especially when facing a real dilemma of pretending to save her own business or being honest and facing possible ridicule. The author makes the characters, complete with flaws, seem like real people you might actually know. The reader experiences the turmoil with them as they face choices which will impact on their possible futures together or apart. Matt is so lovely, supportive, savvy and considerate - no contest as far as I'm concerned, he'd win every time! I also enjoyed reading about his Mum and sister :)This is a great story to escape into, especially during the festive season. I'd like to thank the publishers and NetGalley for gifting me a copy of it with no obligation to read or review. This is my honest opinion.

Love, love, love, love! Here I give you my biggest dreamy, happy sigh.If you are looking for the perfect holiday romance to snuggle in with this month (Or today. It really should be today because honestly? Why wait?!) then look no further because this is your book. I inhaled this book. It was so fun to read. I kind of want to go back and read it again. If I had time, I totally would.Kennedy has a growing business and the perfect boyfriend. After all, he was her perfect match and Kennedy is in the business of knowing such things. Then Kennedy finds herself stuck in an elevator with a handsome stranger and what happens? A kiss of course. A zingy, heart stopping kiss that neither participant can forget. Matt is so swoon worthy. Even when he is being ornery to Kennedy upon first seeing her at his family's house for Christmas, he is swoony. I just LOVED Matt. He is so good to his family and he is so good to Kennedy. Well, after said ornery business is over. Matt was so easy to like and so easy to root for.Jennifer Shirk is one of my favorite authors in the clean romance world. Her characters have great personality and I'm always drawn to them. I follow Jennifer Shirk and I'm always watching for new books by her. I think this one is my new favorite!Content: mild swearing, kissing, casual drinking- I received a copy of this book for free. Wrong Brother, Right Match was a sweet holiday romance, that was just the thing I needed at the time!Kennedy runs and owns a successful matchmaking company, and her relationship with her boyfriend is the perfect example of that. They were matched by her software, and are right for each other in every way…or are they?Six months previously while in Vegas Matt was trapped in an elevator with an unforgettable woman. Thinking he’ll never see her again he moves on with life. Fast forward to Christmas and the discovery that elevator woman is his brother Justin’s fiancée.The spark of attraction between Kennedy and Matt was there from the first page, and their interactions only proved that further. I just wish that they had gotten their act together a lot sooner. Justin was a douche, and Kennedy seemed to be the only person who didn’t see it. Instead of this being Matt and Kennedy’s story, it felt to me like it was Kennedy and Justin’s story with Matt watching from the sidelines. While the epilogue was sweet, it was a case of too little too late for me, because I never got to see Matt and Kennedy as couple previous to this small glimpse into the future. ~ Tamara, 3.5 StarsThis was just the kind of lighthearted read I needed in my life right now. It wasn't overly complicated, people weren't excessively mean or petty, and it was full of small town, close family, Christmas Spirit charm. It's a tale of mismatched love, which can always lead to angsty complications. The author doesn't take this route though, and instead gives a delightful romp into the process of finding one's true match.' "I know you haven't exactly been waiting to sign up as the president of my fan club." "That's not true, Kennedy. You're not half bad. In fact, I guess you're okay, sort of, maybe" "I'll try not to let that go to my head."' Kennedy and Matt had the most delightful banter. Animosity that was never real, just the flirting of two people falling into their (complicated) feelings for each other. Both trying to deny these feelings, because timing. It's always in the timing, isn't it? They know from long ago experience that they are electric together. Loyalty and bad timing keep them walking on tip toes, dancing around the attraction, trying to avoid hurt feelings and broken hearts. The family dynamics were what really made this a treat. The love and warmth radiated off the pages as the family took to Kennedy, embraced her, made her one of them. The bantering between sibling, the "love" of fruitcake, it made this feel like going home for Christmas. The awkward dance going on between Kennedy and Matt remained mostly unknown, and that gave it a slight air of humor all of its own.' " Matt and Kennedy are under the mistletoe." "Oh, how nice, kiss her, Matt. It's Christmas after all." ' Absolutely adorable. Truly, the perfect giggles and swoons feel good romance to snuggle up with on a cold night. ~ George, 4 Stars

I'm in love! One of my favorite movies of all-time is While You Were Sleeping and this story has that vibe. Kennedy is the mastermind behind a matchmaking agency and everything in her life is perfect. Or is it? A little sparky incident on a stuck elevator in Vegas leaves her wondering if her perfect fiance is really the perfect one for her. Imagine her surprise to find that dream man is her fiance's brother!Kennedy just wants to be loved, have some roots and traditions, and to be happy. Because of her unstable upbringing, she comes off as being a little rigid at times, but she still puts people first. It takes a pretty amazing person to do what she did. Justin, the fiance, is pretty aggravating. Work, work, work--that's what drives him. Matt, the brother, has got to be the sweetest guy ever. I love the friction between him and Kennedy, as their interactions made my heart sing. That said, there's an obvious love triangle, but that doesn't bother me. There's also a complete cast of adorable characters in this book. The whole plot moved at a steady pace and engaged me throughout. I love a good chemistry and the emotional tugs are perfect. This is the type of story that makes me feel good and happy, especially with the heartwarming Christmastime activities and the magical miracles of the season. This is definitely one to re-read every year.Content: mild-moderate swearing; one very mild moment of violence; mild romance (kissing).*I received a copy through Netgalley. Ahhh Christmas time.I requested this book from Netgalley during what I like to call my "pre-Christmas requesting spree". The good times... *sigh*This book felt like one of those cheesy Christmas movies you can find on tv during the holidays. Which is not necessarily bad, you just need to be in the mood for it to enjoy it. As a matter of fact, I did enjoy the story as it was as corny as I expected. But it was also predictable and the main character was a bit too cringy for my liking.I was looking for Christmas romance books but if I'm being honest, what made me click on the request button was the blurb. Kennedy has developed a matchmaking software and is starting her matchmaking company. She tests the software on herself and finds the perfect man, Justin. When Kennedy goes to a convention in Vegas, she gets stuck in an elevator with Matt, who is far from perfect but to whom she feels instant attraction. Sparks fly, he kisses her, she runs away and... Six months later Kennedy and Justin go to spend the holidays with his family and - surprise - Matt is Justin's brother! You see, this is corny and cheesy in the best and worst way at the same time. The problem is that I didn't really connect with Kennedy, and quite honestly, I found her infuriating at times. She would indulge Justin just about anything. And let me tell you, Justin's character was so inconsiderate it felt like Kennedy would allow that behaviour just for the sake of the story. All the stars are really for Matt, who I obviously fell for in 5 seconds (that's my MO with love interests).*I received an eARC of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.*

Happy to announce Wrong Brother, Right Match, WON the Sweet Traditional category of the 2017 Golden Quill Published Authors' Contest!Hi. Yes, this again is MY book, so naturally it's a five star rating from me. I'm bias that way. Anyway, I've always wanted to write a Christmas book. (I've tried in the past, but my novella ended up being changed to Valentine's Day. That's another story...)But now I FINALLY have a holiday themed romance! Yay. I like to think of it as the book version of a Hallmark Christmas Movie. So if you don't like Hallmark Christmas movies...beware. But if you do like them...enjoy!And Happy Holidays! (whatever time of the year you choose to read this book)

Actual rating: 3.5This was a cute Christmas romance. Kennedy (we met her in the previous Anyone But You book) is the CEO of a software-based matchmaking company. She has had a lot of success and is ready to take her company to the next level, using her own success story with her boyfriend as the prime example. However, things are not as perfect as they may look on the outside. Kennedy and Justin are compatible on paper, but Justin is a workaholic and has less and less time for Kennedy with a new promotion on the horizon. Enter meet cute with our hero. She meets a handsome stranger and gets stuck with him on an elevator while at a conference in Vegas. Attraction is there and they end up kissing, but once Kennedy "comes to her senses" when the elevator is fixed, she brushes it off as an anxiety-induced bad decision. And thankfully she'll never have to see the guy again...WRONG. Six months later she finds out that her stranger is her now-fiancé's brother. Whoops! ;) And the story takes off from there. This one started out strong with their fun meet cute. But as the story went on, I felt like there could have been more tension, but most of the "tension" was portrayed in their thoughts. So I liked it, just probably would have loved it more if there had been more actual tension instead of perceived tension in their inner dialogue. I liked the characters (although Kennedy should have dumped Justin long before she did...) Caitlyn was a fun side character ("this is snapchat worthy!" Ha!) And Matt's mom was endearing. And maybe Mia will get her own story? All in all this was a cute story. If you enjoy sweet Christmas romances, you'll like this one! Side note: I know it's probably a stock photo, but it bothered me that Kennedy doesn't have glasses on in the picture on the cover! But that would probably only bug me. ;)Source: NetGalley.**I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The thoughts and opinions above are my own.**

This romance novel was a pushing to the edge of the envelope with out going over PG 13 version of the typical G rated Christmas Holiday Hallmark movie. Not for minor age. See substance use, language, and sensuality content below.Alcohol and other drug use: Frequent alcohol use but no abuse. Kennedy's future in-laws own a winery.Language: Matt does frequent use of h*ll said aloud. Plus a couple d*m its or worse thought, but not said aloud.Sensuality content: Clean. No sex. Barely any kissing. Though there was some very not clean (though not explicit at all) thoughts that never turn to action. Matt is disappointed that a stranger (Kennedy) he met and kissed won't be going back to his Las Vegas hotel room, because she has a boyfriend. Matt pictures in his mind his future sister-in-law (Kennedy) out of her Scooby Doo pajamas, while she is staying at his family's house. Kennedy admits to her cousin's girlfriend that she has "NC 17" thoughts about Matt which she feels guilty about because she is engaged to his brother Justin.Source: My purchased library.

Charming! Simply charming! That's what this story is. Kennedy Pepperdine is certain she has found her perfect match. Good thing since matchmaking was her business. She's convinced she has it all until a moment trapped in an elevator with a stranger has her questioning everything. Shaking off the encounter she agrees to spend the holidays with her fiance at his family's home. Seeing her elevator companion again and finding out he is actually her fiance's brother deals her the blow of a lifetime. With Justin, her fiance, preoccupied with work and leaving her while he returns to the city, Kennedy has too much time on her hands and finds herself in the company of Matt Ellis way more than she should be.Don't miss this one, I highly recommend it.

I received a copy of this title from NetGalley. It does not impact my review.Wrong Brother, Right Match is basically a Hallmark Christmas Movie in book form and I love it!Kennedy owns a matchmaking business and has recently developed specialized software to help match people up. She even used it on herself and found her fiancé. However, her relationship with Justin isn’t quite living up to her expectations. He’s a workaholic and often treats Kennedy as an afterthought. She’s determined to make it work, though, since their engagement seems to be a major selling point to possible investors in her company. To further complicate matters, she finds out that the man she once kissed in an elevator (and has never been able to forget) is Justin’s brother, Matt. When Justin abandons Kennedy with his family during their Christmas vacation to go back to work for a few days, Kennedy finds herself spending an awful lot of time with Matt and questioning her relationship with Justin even more. One thing that I always hate in books is cheating so I was a little concerned that I wouldn’t be able to get on board the Kennedy-Matt Ship. Thankfully the characters had some integrity. Kennedy told Justin about the elevator kiss (though at the time she didn’t know it was his brother). And while Matt and Kennedy definitely were developing feelings for each other, they never really crossed the line. I ended up really rooting for them.I really liked both Kennedy and Matt. I thought they were both pretty well-developed and relatable characters. I loved Matt’s relationship with his family, as well. I also enjoyed seeing a couple cameos from the couples from the previous books in the Anyone But You series.Overall, I really enjoyed Wrong Brother, Right Match. I liked the sweet romance and the Christmas setting. It reminded me so much of watching a Hallmark Christmas movie, which I love. I definitely recommend it to those looking for a romantic holiday themed read.Overall Rating (out of 5): 4 Stars

Wrong Brother, Right Match is a sweet romance about Kennedy Pepperdine who owns Match Made Easy, a software system that matches couples based on the information its fed. Kennedy’s engaged to Justin Ellis, a type A workaholic who puts work above all else, including Kennedy, under the guise of advancement to his career. Kennedy is very understanding because she’s trying to build her business as well, but that doesn't mean she isn't disappointed. Justin consistently disappoints time after time, and she willingly accepts his excuses because, after all, the software said they were the perfect match. In addition to that, she fears being like her mother who’s been married several times. However, other than their penchant to advance their careers, they have little in common.Kennedy is in Vegas waiting for Justin to arrive, only she receives another phone call he can’t make it. Riding the elevator to her room, she meets a guy named Matt, who’s carrying a bottle of champagne he plans to share with a woman he’s just met, but the elevator stops between floors and he and Kennedy are trapped inside for quite some time. During their entrapment, Matt learns that Kennedy has been stood up and he can see the disappointment on her face. When Kennedy reveals she’s claustrophobic and begins to hyperventilate, he decides to share the champagne with her instead to calm her nerves. By the time the elevator is fixed, Kennedy is feeling no pain and they share a kiss. One that neither can forget. Matt can’t forget her and although she can’t seem to get him out of her mind, she’s feeling guilty. This makes her work harder on her relationship with Justin by convincing herself it meant nothing. She was drunk. Sadly that doesn't seem to change anything. When the holidays roll around, Justin wants Kennedy to meet his family and that’s when Kennedy gets the surprise of her life.Wrong Brother, Right Match was a delightful, sweet romance that will warm your heart and teach you that sometimes the biggest issues lie in your own backyard. I highly recommend this story and anything by this author writes.I was given this ARC from NetGalley and Entanglement Publishing for an honest review.

Kennedy doesn't like messy. She wants everything to be perfect. Creating that perfection is what she does best, also for others. She's a matchmaker and has developed the exact right software to bring people together. She tested it on herself and found the ideal man through her own system. Justin is everything she wants in a boyfriend, he's handsome, smart and just as career driven as Kennedy. They rarely see each other, but they are amazing together, or aren't they? When Justin finally introduces Kennedy to his family his brother Matt gets the shock of his life. He already knows Kennedy. They spent some time in an elevator together and there were plenty of sparks. Kennedy is the woman he hasn't been able to get out of his mind. When Justin leaves Kennedy with his family for several days she and Matt have the chance to get to know each other better. Will they be able to put the elevator incident behind them and has Kennedy actually chosen the right brother?Wrong Brother, Right Match is a fun holiday story. Kennedy is sweet and she has one wish, having a family. She loves spending time with Justin's relatives and likes warm cozy Christmases. I loved her determination to make people happy. Kennedy is driven and knows exactly what she wants in life. However, sometimes the heart wins it from the mind and I enjoyed watching her handle that complication. Matt is a gentle man, he's always there for his mother, brother and sister and sometimes forgets himself in the process. He deserves some happiness for himself as well and I kept hoping he would get it. I loved the connection he has with Kennedy, they're both kindhearted, romantic souls and I liked that aspect of the story very much.Jennifer Shirk has written a wonderful festive story. It's light and cheerful and has a great holiday atmosphere. The descriptions of food, especially chocolate, and drinks made my mouth water. I love it when characters are passionate about what they put in their mouths. Wrong Brother, Right Match is a delicious and cute book with a lovely romantic ending.

Loved it!This book was so darn cute and reminded me so much of the movie "While you were sleeping", one of my favorites. I didn't love some of the innuendo or suggestive thoughts the protagonists had, but it wasn't too often or descriptive. The sparks definitely flew between the characters as they butted heads, but their romance was sweet and satisfying in the end.

Kennedy's life is going just the way she planned. Her matchmaking business is finally taking off and she has the edge over her competitors with a special matchmaking software. She also has the perfect set of friends and a perfect boyfriend.Except for the fact that she isn't sor sure about the perfect boyfriend part? When she gets trapped in an elevator in Vegas, the claustrophobia and a bottle of champagne lead her to confess her doubts about her relationship to the handsome stranger stuck along with her. They part with a kiss that leaes her shocked. But, now, months later she is completely fine with her relationship(or she thinks she is). After all her own matchmaking software can't be wrong about the fact Justin is the one for her right?Justin is now her fiance and they will be off to his hometown to visit his family for the holidays finally!Matt Ellis has given up a lot for his family. He is quite happy running the family business, but sometimes one does wonder whether he could have done more if he had not given up his plans when his dad died.He doesn't think Justin is that grateful, since Justin spends most of the time working and hardly ever visits the family. Now, that he is bringing along a fiancee for Christmas, he is quite skeptical.Imagine his surprise when he sees that his future sister-in-law is the woman he kissed in the elevator in Vegas!Kennedy is also quite shocked by finding out that Matt is Justin's brother. The fact that she can't stop thinking about the kiss doesn't help.Justin also goes back to the city early instead of spending time with his family since he has work to deal with. Now Matt has to 'babysit' Kennedy while he fights his attraction to this infuriatingly ,stubborn woman.Kennedy has never had a stable family and her cousin is her only close relation. When she meets Justin's family, she is quite happy and is welcomed by his mother and sister.Spending the holidays with them and the surly Matt also is enjoyable and gives her a sense of warmth that she has never had before. But, noone can deny the fizzle of attraction between her and Matt once they spend more time together, adding to the doubts about her almost non-existent relationship with Justin. Will she be ready to accept the fact that the software that the future of her business is based on might be wrong? And will she miss out on the chance to have a family that she has always dreamed of?I really loved the main characters in this book!I think Matt was my favorite!Even though he is a little bit grouvhy in the beginning, he warms up and is so sweet by the end.I loved the fact that he tried to do the honorable thing and always put his family first! The connection between him and Kennedy was amazing.Though they spent a few weeks together, the development of their relationship was completely believable.Kennedy was such a likable heroine too!I could emphatise with her and understand the reason why she held onto the relationship with Justin for long. But sometimes what we need is completely different from what we think we want and she realises that too! There is absolutely no cheating in this book and both the characters were quite serious about their decisions and repurcussions. And I'm also glad Justin wasn't made out to be a complete asshole. He had his bad moments, but he was also human, just not the right one for Kennedy.I hope we get a book about him.I loved the Ellis family. What a beautiful relationship!Kennedy's family and friends were really supportive secondary characters too!The writing and the pot flowed really well. The epilogue was the best part! This book left me with a smile on my face and a satisfied feeling! Its really good that its releasing during the holidays too, I think you guys would definitely love it!Looking forward to read more from this author in the future!

I loved this book. First of all its set at Christmas, my favourite time of the year. Secondly the romance between Kennedy and Justin is so obviously not right, they seem more friends then lovers. I feel for Kennedy so much, her desire for a family to call her own, plus not wanting her match making business to fail. Is clouding her judgement on what a perfect match is. After having a sizzling kiss in an elevator with a handsome stranger, Kennedy is determined to forget all about it. Until she goes home with Justin for Christmas, and who should she bump into but the handsome stranger aka Matt who is Justin's brother. Kennedy is besides herself when they meet again. She desperately wanted to fit into this family. Now it looks like it might not happen. Matt is determined to forget about his feelings for her. This isn't easy when Matt is called home for business and suggests that Kennedy stay behind and Matt look after her. Can they control their feelings? Will everyone have a happy ending?I highly recommend picking up a copy. ARC received from net galley in exchange for an honest review.

Clean Christmas romance with two people with a connection who maintain what is morally right despite their attraction and feelingsWrong Brother, Right Match by Jennifer Shirk was my first read by the author and I enjoyed this book and will definitely be keeping an eye out for more in the series. This is a clean Christmas romance and while this is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone with a HEA; any info about previous characters is given with just enough details to fill in new readers.Matt and Kennedy, who tell the book through dual perspectives, have an instant attraction when they first meet in circumstances that helped define things early on. The relationship only continues to grow later on in the book as they spend more time together in a sweet but tense way. I will be honest, I was intrigued to see how this would play out as I’m not a fan of any kind of cheating stories but the way in which the author wrote this book it worked with slowly building the relationship between Matt and Kennedy in an appropriate way, given Kennedy’s relationship with Justin, while trying to do what is morally correct. Both Matt and Kennedy were fairly likeable and relatable characters and the secondary characters around them really helped develop the two further. Wrong Brother, Right Match is well written and moves with a steady pace given the fact it takes place over a couple of days mostly before being lengthened slightly in time frame at the end. While the book is light hearted, there is some tension and drama given the circumstances of the characters relationship that adds to the plot and how the characters work through everything, keeping the reader intrigued from start to finish. This can be read as a standalone as there is a HEA for Matt and Kennedy (although it’s not predictable in how it gets there and does have you wondering if it ever will be a HEA). Overall, I would recommend this book!*I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Entangled Publishing via NetGalley. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.

Slick's review posted at Guilty Pleasures Book ReviewsWrong Brother, Right Match was a sweet holiday story with a whole lot of sexual tension and a bit of holiday magic. A crazy chance meeting between two strangers comes back in to play as the two meet again when she comes "home" with his brother for the holidays. This was a crazy mixed up story and I did enjoy the story, I just would have liked more time with the hero and heroine actually together.Kennedy Pepperdine believes her life is on track, well mostly. She's a bit concerned about her matchmaking business, but her engagement to Justin Ellis a man who she met through her own dating software is a dream come true and so is heading out for a long vacation with his family. What she doesn't expect is to find out the man she shared a bottle of champagne and a kiss with in an elevator in Vegas is her soon to be brother in law, Matt. This was a bit of an unusual romance in that while Kennedy is engaged to Justin, his workaholic tendencies and their lack of "zing" has her questioning everything especially when the chemistry between her and Matt is so apparent. When Justin ditches her with his family to go back to the city for his job she spends a lot of time with his mom, sister and Matt and falls a little bit in love with them all which makes her feel guilty and excited. I loved watching her interact with the family and holy cow was the tension between her and Matt thick and yes, I was rooting for them and no, they didn't do anything that made her a cheater, but I hated that we really didn't get to spend very much time with her and Matt as an actual couple.Wrong Brother, Right Match was an enjoyable and entertaining holiday story.ARC provided with no expectations.

Lite-hearted holiday romance with loads of fun sprinkled in. The charm of one man makes you confess the ultimate of your foibles of life. The man that appears to be the perfect match for you is not. Time goes by and you feel safe that you have no problems from the tiny confession. That is until you meet the other man again and it happens to be the brother of the not so perfect match you are with. What do you do?This was a witty read that shows what it’s like to have the utter belief that you the man you thought was your future is not your future and the one that is your future is his brother. I was anticipating the love story and connection of two individuals that were perfect together. I got a lot of Kennedy being with the wrong man. The right man watching from the sidelines. When they did get together, I was so like that took too long. Holiday read that will incite your passion and laughter. This was a fun story on the wrong man you’re with and the right one you need. I needed more time of Kennedy and Matt together. Kennedy was strong, smart and intuitive but when she was with Justin. It was like her brain got turned off and when on hibernation. She was blinded or just chose not to show that she saw what he was like.

Kennedy had a computerized matchmaking business called Match Made Easy and the business was holding it’s own. Kennedy was at the Creative Technology Developer Conference in Las Vegas she had given a talk there. Kennedy’s boyfriend was Justin who sadly couldn’t get away from work to be with her at the conference. Kennedy and Justin both wanted 2.5 children and a dog and had been the first people she had tested her software on. Both Kennedy and Justin were workaholics also. For the sixth time that weekend Kennedy had tried to call Justin and just got his voicemail with no return calls. Kennedy told herself it was not a big deal and had nothing to do with missing her. Kennedy refused to let anymore doubt cloud her opinion of Justin or their relationship. Kennedy was claustrophobic which met she didn’t like things like elevators or airplane oe elevators but the were a necessary evil of modern life. She went to catch an elevator to get back to her room but almost missed it until a man stopped the doors from closing on her and she got inside. Then all a sudden the elevator jolted to a stop. The guy in the elevator was Matt and he had champagne with him and two flutes. Kennedy was having trouble with her anxiety related asthma and was breathing into a brown paper bag that she always carried with her.Matt opened the champagne and poured some into both glasses and gave Kennedy one to try to help her relax a little and it did help. Kennedy ended up telling Matt about her business and how proud she was of it she also told him she was having some relationship problems and doubts about her boyfriend. As the elevator door was opening Matt kissed Kennedy and they both felt it and Kennedy kissed him back. Then once the door opened she ran off and the paramedics blocked Matt from following her. Six months later Kennedy and Justin are engaged although he hadn’t taken time to get her a ring yet. Justin is finally taking two weeks off and going to his moms so she as well as his sister and brother can meet Kennedy for the first time. As the family goes to meet Justin he introduces Kennedy as his fiance. Matt cannot believe the girl he kissed and admitted to relationship doubts and problems was his brother’s fiance Matt instantly feels protective of Justin and wanders what Kennedy is up to. Matt realizes Kennedy remembered him and their kiss just like he did. He hadn’t stopped thinking about Kennedy.I loved this story. It kept my interest from the first couple pages to the last one. I loved Kennedy as a character she was such a good and caring person. Justin not so much he was selfish, uncaring person who only cared about what he thought was important and what he wanted to do even make his mom hurt as he really couldn’t be bothered with her or his sister and brother or Kennedy for that fact for the most part. It was so sad the way Justin just overlooked Kennedy and what she needed and wanted. Then to leave the day after he gets to his mom's and to leave Kennedy there . and then to call Matt to have him tell Kennedy and the rest of the family he would be longer than he thought just thoroughly irritated me. But I guess he had to be that way for the story to flow right. I loved the characters and how they interacted and especially how Justin’s mom and sister readily accepted Kennedy. I also loved how Kennedy when on the New Year's Eve special told the truth even though her business would probably suffer from it or maybe even close. The plot was great and this was just a wonderful story. I also loved the ins and outs of the story and I highly recommend.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again….Jennifer Shirk is my go to author for sweet romances. You can’t help but feel for the characters and want them to find their happily-ever-after.Kennedy Pepperdine believes in love. Well, what she thinks is love. She doesn’t believe that your heart should guide you, but your mind. She believes that if two people have the same likes and dislikes that it makes them a perfect couple. She’s even betting her company, Match Made Easy, on this belief and the computer program she helped design. She believes she’s found her perfect match in Justin, who she met through her company. But being trapped in a Vegas elevator with a stranger has her world reeling, just a little bit.Matt Ellis has for the most part, not lived the life he’s wanted to live. That doesn’t mean he isn’t happy running the family winery and taking care of his mother and younger sister. Matt isn’t really a relationship kind of guy, but he just can’t get the stranger he met in a Vegas elevator out of his head.Christmas is approaching and Kennedy is looking forward to having a wonderful dream-filled Christmas with Justin and his family. The perfect Christmas with the perfect fiancé is just what she’s always wanted. Unfortunately, the one person she never thought she would see again happens to be her fiancé’s older brother. As if things couldn’t get any worse, Justin reneges on a promise to leave work behind. Once again, Matt is pushed into the role of taking care of the family, including Kennedy, when Justin returns to Boston for work. It seems the Christmas Kennedy has always dreamed of isn’t going to happen after all.I have a hard time with someone “being with” one sibling and then falling for the other sibling. I just think it makes things a little awkward. But Kennedy and Matt are two people you know are right for each other. They each tried really hard to fight their feelings for the other. At no point in time did they not have Justin's best interest at heart. This was something I really liked about the story.Matt was easy to like from the beginning. His likeability just kept increasing throughout the book. Kennedy was also likeable, but I found myself feeling sorry for her most of the time. I don't mean to be insulting, but Kennedy was like a puppy desperately trying to fit in. I found it sad that what was so important to her was not important to her fiancé. Justin came across almost the entire book as being self-centered and self-absorbed. I know that truly isn’t the type of person he is, but in a way he’s also trying to figure out where he fits in. Wrong Brother, Right Match left me with a smile on my face. I’m really hoping the series continues. I would love to have Justin find his own happily-ever-after.**Received a copy of the book courtesy of the author and I voluntarily reviewed it.**
