Marie: An Invitation To Dance, France, 1775 Reviews
Another book I read as a kid that I'm sure is totally passable intermediate fiction. I think books like these are more American Girl read-alikes (from the days before there were one million American Girl books/dolls/merch) and pre-Dear America reads.
This was one of my favorite books as a kid and it just took me forever to track it down! I have no clue if I'd still like it, but my 7-year-old self sure thought it was pretty great.
